Congratulations Kilmarnock unlucky Falkirk.

Great day but one thing I will say is get it back to Styx great venue to small, I would have had a section on sat section on Sunday play the QF semi on the Sunday for a venue this size. Too many ppl round the tables when players are playing guys just walk by your table not giving a NO SWEARING!! not moving. If you playing for a space at PB then the same rules should apply when your at Qualifying (playoffs) ie loss of frame etc if a player walk in front of tables etc then

Problem you have Paul is that we already were using Styx with 12 teams, that venue could not take more than 16? and as such we had 23 teams in this.

Have to totally agree with Paul, Falkirk a lovely venue but definitely not suitable for an event like this, how are players expected to play to their best when you have to ask people to move or people are jumping up and down in your line of sight.

I understand 23 teams scenario, but also would expect the SPA to arrange a suitable venue or only allow so many people into the playing area at any one time.

In my opinion very poor asking players to play serious games in this sort of enviroment and conditions.

Any idea where I can find player stats? Checked PoolAppLive but all that seems to be available now is Scottish Singles

Have to say that once again players are looking at things , based on the very best?

How many venues can take 11 x 18 players teams?

Every time a new venue is set up others compare that to what they play in, without looking at what they used to play in.

I think the best thing to do is to stop play offs altogether, that way the SPA can select two or four teams from the entries to make up the sections, we have less bother and no one to start criticizing.

........clap

..Ross no one is expecting the best and I understand the SPA's problems organising these events. All I am saying is that players are ENTITLED to be able play to the best of their ability, without being impeded when paying or having to ask or wait for people to move out of the way.

I think you should charge 150 a team for the play offs then you would probably get less entry's and the teams that qualified would have there entry's and accommodation paid for with the prize money.
