  Belhaven Scottish Open 2018
by: FlyingScotsman, 1 week ago 12:25 PM (#1)

The Belhaven Scottish Open Championships entries have to be in for the SPA meeting held on Sunday the 8th July.

Entry fee this year is £10 with a guaranteed prize fund of £10400.
Race to 8 in all qualifiers and at the start of the finals, race will increase at later rounds subject to time.

Winner £2000
R/up £1000
semi £500
quarters £250
Last 16 £125
Last 32 £75
Last 64 £50
Last 128 £25
The Scottish Open is just that, no seeding at any stage of the tournament, last years winner was Alan ‘SEMI’ Saunders from East of Fife pool league, winning the biggest title in Scotland and also pushing him into the top 8 ranked players in Scotland.
For the first time ever the Belhaven Scottish Open finals will have a Calcutta .

The qualifying names will come in the usual time and right away we will do the Calcutta live.

The winning bids will then have 48 hours to pay the funds, otherwise it will go up for rebidding again.

If a player does not get bid on then with a minimum bid of £50, then they will be put into a group of players and bidders can bid on that group.

Once all the money is in the draw will again be done live.

Winner 35%
Runner up 20%
Semi 10%
quarters 5%

SPA 5%, if the entry fees cover the guaranteed prize fund of £10400, then the SPA 5% will be added to the prize fund.
