Didn’t want to start new thread but have to say some of the caravans are a f*****g disgrace.
Guys spending their hard earned to stay and take time off from work to stay in caravans in which you need to take heaters etc.
Joke.

It was actually £93 for Friday night and £137 for Saturday night shuff....our caravan was an absolute disgrace, and after 3 failed complaints I ended up in the hotel.nothing done til Saturday evening which is a joke, even then they moved to another s h I t hole.also, there was 5 men to stay in our van which had 2 single beds and a double bed,and the couch/bed was broke 😂 absolute disgrace.been to the supers since I was 16,18 years now and never complained once.but this took the biscuit....

If they are as bad as that on the first tourney of the year, what is it going to be like next month for the last tourney as they will no doubt get worse. Already expecting the worst this weekend coming.

I can relate to the frustrations as I am now asthmatic following Pet Bay counties and to be honest I make reception aware of this on arrival and they are very pleasant and helpful.
I've stayed in vans up there of a quality I'd take my wife and kids to.
I've also been allocated units I quite literally would not ask my DUG to sleep in & twice I've refused to sleep in them and booked into Hotels.
The concerning thing is they don't 'seem' to be getting better - there is no investment in those high up low use units. That they seem comfortable shafting people and expect them to sleep there is pretty shocking. There is cleary visible DAMP on the bed clothes and pillows - that cant be healthy!!!
I know LOTS of people who no longer do Supers just because of the state of the vans.
Ross, its a tough situation with so few alternatives available, but is there any pressure at all we can bring to bear, in regard to the worst of the vans???
Im sure a guy from Edinburgh took photos and put a post online
About the state of his van last yr and he got banned from pb for life.
We actually don't ask for much as players but need to draw a line
In the sand when its more comfortable/cleaner lying out on the decking all night.
I agree with limited venues etc and how difficult it must be.
given the amount of revenue PB make from our 4 weekends we deserve far better treatment than 2nd might even say 5th class accomodation.
I dont have the exact answers, possilby a hall we could put tables into then do some sort of deal with premiere inn n travel lodges ???.
these could be booked and agree by tournament committee a year in advance.
just a thought.
Or force PB to have enough 1st class accomodation for players and supporters alike.

Actually 8 weekends of supers
Then 5 man
Might also be 1 more
So talking about 9/10 weekends of the year the spa hires out pettycur.
1 of the Edinburgh guys put a review on tripadvisor and got a 1 year ban by the spa (although the said it was pettycur)
I had the same van at 15s and 11s last year and had no hot water at both events
All I got was moaned at from Ross for not following g protocol for complaining to reception at the 15s then when I complained to Ross at the 11s got told what do I expect him to do
After Edinburgh getting shafted for a £230.00 bill for damage to a kickboard at last years 11s if there is anything wrong with my van this year then the organisers will be getting handed a Bill
Edinburgh asked to see how pettycur bay came to a cost of £230.00 for damage to a van after only receiving the invoice 6 months after the event and were told by the exec tough luck pay the bill or face suspension from the supers and as they paid the bill without asking any questions there was nothing would be done about it

Well after bumping my gums last week - thought it only fair to say ................................... the caravan my team had this weekend was minted.
