  50 K Blackball Tables Challenge
by: FlyingScotsman, 27-02-2019 03:36 PM (#1)

Blackball Tables are delighted to announce their inaugural pool event for amateurs with a massive £50k guaranteed prize fund. The Grand Final is being held at the Hilltop Milton Hotel in Carlisle from 13th – 15th September 2019.
96 players who have qualified from regional venues all over Europe will travel to Carlisle to stake their claim on the £50,000 prize pot. All finalists will be on prize money for qualifying starting at £200 and increasing through the rounds culminating with the winner picking up the cheque for £12,000.

Competition

The Finals will be played on 16 brand new white Blackball Club tables using Hainsworth Match cloth in blue along with Aramith Pro Cup balls. The event will be a double elimination with the winner section a race to 10 and the loser section a race to 7, played down to the last 16. The last 16 onwards will be a straight knockout until we establish our winner. The event will be streamed live on the internet.

When Blackball Tables launched, we promised to give something back to the cue sport family. The key difference with this event from other current pool events, is there are no cue sport professionals or top ranked players from any discipline allowed to enter. *

To be in with a chance, just pay the £100 entry fee or try and qualify from one of the many clubs running qualifiers throughout the UK and Ireland.

For more information on Blackball Tables, where qualifiers are going to be held or to purchase a qualifier please email info@blackballtables.com or telephone 0131 370 9888.

Blackball Tables

A number of venue/homes are just asking to pay directly to put a player through to the regional finals, we have no problem with any venue selecting and paying for a player to go straight into the regionals.

So to make your payment of £100 please pay into account number 78719658 sort code 405162 Handelsbanken name on the account Blackball Tables Ltd.

One of our partners in the Blackball Tables £50k event, Qbolt Technologies is putting up a £500 prize for the fastest break.

At the £50k final event our streaming table will be set up with their new break speed software, see Qbolt Tecnologiest for details, and the fastest breaker will win the £500.

Unlike other events where certain players are selected, the streaming table will be drawn at random, with (until the later stages of the event) no player playing on it more than once. Thus giving as many players a chance of winning this prize.

If you have never visited http://www.qbolttech.com/ or their Facebook page, then please do so now. Its because of Companies like this, the game of pool is going to grow.

Right people asking for Scottish venues holding the regionals.

Legends Aberdeen
Ballroom Meadowbank.
Red Triangle Cumbernauld
Sands Dumfries
Shotz Dundee
Pyramid Kilmarnock
Legends Fishcross

These are the major venues that players from around that area will be put to when entering the event.

Some players may ask to travel to another venue as they do not wish to play against their mates, that will be fine.

We are looking at regional dates being Saturdays or Sundays middle of July/August as players may be on holiday at those times and do not just want to give them one date to attend.

So to make your payment of £100 please pay into account number 66713104 sort code 405162 Handelsbanken name on the account Blackball Tables Ltd.
