As everyone can see the SPA Exec have announced that the full season of 2020 has now been cancelled.

The Exec will be holding a Zoom meeting shortly to discuss lots of things.

I have been getting messages asking if I remain manager of an international team for example and think its only right for players/leagues to put forward questions raised by our members, so the Exec can go over them at this meeting, it may be we miss things you want to know.

So post on here for anything you wish to be brought up at the meeting.

Yeh I was wondering if International Managers selected for this year will retain position next year ?

If the season is extended to next year, does this mean no new players can register and the number remain the same or will it be open to new members even though the events missed this year are to be completed?
If players that took a year out in 2020 want to register for season 2021, do they go back to no points as they took a break or does the points from 2019 take effect and they continue with those points as 2020 has really been a non-starter?

I would have thought that would be a no brainer as those selected didn't get their chance so makes sense to carry the positions into next year for the year term.

Those are the small nuances that would have to be thought about, I wouldn't be stopping new entries, unless its decided to play the remaining 3 IM's out. I'd propose that those already in this season would have their monies carried over and have a reduced or no fee and new players pay as normal, cancel the 3 IM's and void the first event points and run off the end of season points, there are numerous ways to go though i'd imagine.
